Motive uses only essential cookies and browser local storage. Specifically, the site stores a single preference value to record whether you have responded to the cookie consent banner. This prevents the banner from appearing on every page during a single browsing session or across return visits.

This stored value:

  • Does not contain any personal identifying information.
  • Is not transmitted to any external server or third party.
  • Does not track your browsing behaviour on this site or elsewhere.
  • Serves no advertising or commercial function.

3. What Motive Does Not Use

Motive does not use any of the following:

  • Analytics cookies or platforms (such as Google Analytics, Matomo, or similar).
  • Advertising or retargeting cookies of any kind.
  • Third-party cookies from social networks, advertising networks, or data brokers.
  • Session recording or heatmap tools.
  • Tracking pixels or marketing identifiers.
  • Any cookie or storage mechanism intended to identify or profile you as an individual.

4. Managing Your Preferences

You can decline the use of even essential local storage by selecting "Decline" in the cookie banner. If you do so, the banner may reappear on subsequent visits. Most browsers also allow you to block or delete cookies and local storage through their settings. Doing so will not prevent you from reading content on Motive, though some UI elements — such as the banner itself — may behave differently.

5. Changes to This Policy

If Motive's approach to cookies changes in the future, this page will be updated accordingly with a revised date. Given the minimal nature of the current implementation, significant changes are unlikely.
